Missile Defense Project: Interceptor Communication System Data Terminal (IDT) Complex


Project Description

This project consists of a Top Secret Security Data Terminal for the detection of projectile missiles along  the Northeast coast.  The complex consists of a two buildings.  A 4368 SF Data terminal building and a 4000 SF administrative building.  The complex included a complete utility infrastructure to include water, sewer, gas communications, double fencing system, access security, bullet proof security guard building.   Project elements included site work (13 acres), structural foundations, pre-engineered metal building, standing seam metal roof system, storm water management, underground electric, communications, gas, water, sewer, Redundant electrical and mechanical systems,  Intrusion Detection System,  CCTV cameras at the perimeter of the site, double perimeter security fencing, vehicle crash barrier system, pedestrian turnstile control access, ballistic proof buildings, guard shelter, HEMP shielding for Intrusion Detection Building.
